Academy Campus:  University of Central Missouri

Drop off and pick up locations and times are the same for both sessions:

Session 1: Drop off Sunday June 22nd between 6:00-6:45 pm. Be sure to eat dinner BEFORE you arrive. Pick-up will be at the same location on Wednesday, June 25th between 4:00-4:30 pm.

Session 2: Drop off Sunday July 13th between 6:00-6:45 pm. Be sure to eat dinner BEFORE you arrive. Pick-up will be at the same location on Wednesday, July 16th between 4:00-4:30 pm.

Drop off:

Coming into Warrensburg, you will go south on Business 13 to campus. Use your preferred navigation system for driving directions to Fitzgerald Hall, 100 Houx St (session 1) or South Ellis Hall, 301 Anderson St. (session 2), Warrensburg, MO 64093.

You will see the RYLA banner and RYLA staff in the parking lot.

Park and check in at the dorm (staff will direct you to the front entrance ). Please bring personal belongings inside with you when you come to check-in. (Note: For Ellis Hall, it’s better if you drop your student off at the front door, park and wait to see their room assignment before bringing in their bags. There is no elevator at this dorm and access might be easier from the parking lot.) You will be allowed to help your student to their dorm room, and then you can be on your way. Please plan your travel to arrive on time so your student will be in the dorm, unpacked and settled, ready to begin the academy absolutely no later than 6:45 pm. Our classroom is in another building and no one will be at the dorm to help you if you are late.

Pick Up:

Please follow the same directions to get to parking lot as when you dropped your student off. It is NOT necessary for you to come into the dorm to check them out. Students usually text their parents when they are ready to be picked up. If your student needs assistance carrying their personal items to your vehicle, you are welcome to come into the dorm to assist. It gets pretty crowded and chaotic in the dorm lobby, so that is why we encourage parents to stay with their vehicle. Please plan your travel to arrive on time so you meet the pick-up time window of 4:00-4:30 pm. None of the RYLA staff lives in Warrensburg, and, like most of our students, have a long drive home.

As with both drop off and pick up, if you have an unplanned delay, please contact Miki at 314.422.7894 asap. If your student is late Sunday night and we have not heard from you, we will assume they will not be attending the academy.
